First Picture....
Sigh, I'd really hoped I'd be better at posting...at least just for my own log of projects and stuff. Ah well, here I am after a few weeks.
I changed my mind twice on the Eris cardigan! I decided that since I was almost done and just needed the sleeves to continue plugging away at it. I was done with one sleeve and then tried it on. Yuck! The width of the body is too big and the collar is too wide for my liking. So, it's back to frogging it and making something else. That something is going to be Veronik Avery's Three penny pullover. It's in IK and I love the cables! I have started and have about 3" done. I'm using size 7 needles for the Malabrigo yarn and I really like the dense knitted look and feel of this. I will have to get a picture of it!
I'm also making some fingerless mitts for K3 who said she would like some to keep her hands warm at the school bus stop. Ah, talking about the bus stop. Yesterday we jetted out the door and down to the bus stop (5 houses down the street). We waited just a couple of minutes before the bus arrived and then the girls all started towards the bus at which point I noticed that K2 didn't have her backpack. Arg! I hollered, "where's your backpack??" at which point she noticed it too. So I had to run her backpack to school . I beat the bus there and had to wait a few minutes and discuss the fieldtrip (that morning) with a couple of her classmates. Don't ask how we got out the door and all the way to the bus before noticing a missing backpack...
Since my last post, I have been a busy knitter and churned out 2 hats. One is the Weekend Knits luggy bonnet and the other is a shaker rib. I really like both. I knit both from Mountain Colors Twizzle in a red colorway. I love this yarn except for the $$.
Well, not sure about the picture as I'm having technical difficulties....
